Retro Fitness is looking for an Assistant General Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional member service while driving revenue growth. You will support the General Manager across daily operations and coach staff to uphold service standards and sales targets.

The role emphasizes flexibility in hours, onboarding new team members, and readiness to advance into a General Manager position within 12 to 18 months based on performance. Training and development are provided.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of lead/shift supervision experience in fitness, hospitality or retail.
• Comfortable working in a sales-driven environment.
• Strong communication and motivational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist General Manager with day-to-day operations across sales, fitness and front desk.
• Coach staff on service standards, cleanliness and sales processes.
• Handle daily sales, promote training packages and contribute to membership growth.
• Onboard and train new team members and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Resolve member concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support club operations to ensure smooth running.
• Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

At Retro Fitness we are not just running clubs we are building communities. As an Assistant General Manager you will play a key role in leading and developing a high-performing team delivering exceptional member service and driving key revenue results. This is a pipeline role for future General Manager ideal candidates will be ready to step into a GM role within 12 to 18 months based on performance.

What You Will Do

• Support the General Manager in all day-to-day operations across Sales Fitness and Front Desk
• Lead by example and coach staff on service standards cleanliness and sales processes
• Own daily sales responsibilities by coaching the front desk team promoting training packages and contributing directly to membership growth
• Help onboard and train new team members and ensure staff follow all Retro Fitness procedures
• Solve member concerns quickly and professionally
• Jump in to help wherever needed to keep the club running smoothly
• Must be available to work flexible hours including early mornings evenings and weekends

What We Are Looking For

• One or more years of keyholder shift leader or team lead experience in fitness hospitality or retail
• Comfortable working in a sales-driven environment
• Confident communicator and positive motivator
• Organized accountable and calm under pressure
• CPR or AED certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days

Nice to Have

• Experience selling memberships personal training or wellness products
• Familiarity with gym operations or club management systems
• Proven ability to coach a team to hit sales or service targets
• Desire to grow into a General Manager role within the next 12 to 18 months

Compensation

• Hourly plus Monthly PT Commissions & Performance bonus
