They recruit, lead and develop people to execute outstanding Quality, Service, Cleanliness & Value, build sales and control costs to deliver optimum business results for a single McDonalds restaurant. Key customers include all levels of the team and our Guests/Customers.

Leadership
  • Motivate a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal.
  • Possess the combination of personality and leadership skills that makes others want to follow their direction.
  • Set the tone for the restaurant and customer service environment.
  • Role model values and behaviors that are consistent with the Company culture.
Sales, Guest Counts and Profitability
  • Effectively develop and execute store (local store) marketing plans to maximize sales potential within the community.
  • Ensure systems and routines are in place to continue to improve sales and transactions; push the team with targets and hold the team accountable.
  • Conduct in-restaurant implementation of new products and procedures.
  • Effectively execute national and co-op promotions to maximize sales potential.
  • Consistently execute at a high level in managing expenses and meet budgeted targets.
  • Use proper security and safety measures at all times.
Operations – Quality and Food Safety
  • Maintain critical standards for raw and finished product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and ensure food safety is a top priority for the restaurant on a daily basis.
  • Manage planned maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal productivity and quality.
Service and Scheduling
  • Accurately project, measure and control all P&L line items, e.g., food, labor, etc.
  • Measure external customer satisfaction and execute a plan to improve their satisfaction with their McDonald’s experience and increase their loyalty.
  • Effectively schedule to build the business on all day parts.
Cleanliness and Security
  • Maintain all physical plant aspects of the restaurant, including landscaping, building, equipment, etc.
  • Ensure all security procedures are executed.
People
  • Recruit, select, develop and retain an optimum number of crew, maintenance, and management dedicated to customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and conduct leadership team meetings.
  • Complete and present performance appraisals based on defined goals and objectives for all restaurant team members in a timely manner.
  • Know, enforce and educate crew on all appropriate policies, labor laws, security and safety procedures.
  • Model performance standards for all crew stations and maintenance. Work in a unit-producing capacity as needed.
  • Execute a plan, based on an employee commitment measurement, to increase employee loyalty, satisfaction and pride with the McDonald’s experience.
  • Manage the development and training of crew and shift management employees, including interviewing applicants for crew and management positions.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team meets restaurant standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next manager to help prepare him/her to run a great shift.
