Job summary

Hotel Indigo French Quarter New Orleans is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our team with a guest-first approach and a passion for hospitality.

Starting at $115K annually, the GM will drive hotel operations, maintain brand standards, and partner with F&B, Sales, and Revenue teams to deliver memorable experiences in the heart of New Orleans.

The ideal candidate will develop high-performing teams, optimize profitability, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of hotel operations with a hands-on, guest-focused leadership style.
• Create an exceptional guest experience by ensuring service standards consistently exceed expectations.
• Embrace and tell the Hotel Indigo neighborhood story through every aspect of the guest journey.
• Build, coach, mentor, and develop department leaders and associates while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and empowerment.
• Maintain a strong leadership presence throughout the hotel, actively engaging with guests and supporting associates daily.
• Partner closely with Food & Beverage leadership to deliver innovative dining experiences, maximize revenue, and maintain exceptional service standards.
• Drive operational excellence through consistent coaching, quality assurance, and execution of brand standards.
• Lead revenue optimization efforts while managing expenses, labor, and profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, and Marketing to maximize business opportunities and strengthen the hotel's market position.
• Ensure compliance with all IHG brand standards, life safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Promote a positive workplace culture built on respect, teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
