Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group, a leading hospitality provider, seeks a dynamic General Manager to oversee operations at Hyatt Place San Juan-21172. Lead budget planning, guest satisfaction, and staff development while maintaining brand standards.

The GM will manage financial performance, schedules, and be accountable for safety, vendor relationships, and event execution in a fast-paced property environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure
• Maintaining statistical and financial records
• Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
• Recruiting, training, and monitoring staff -
• Planning work schedules for individuals and teams
• Appropriately responding to and resolving guest concerns
• Addressing problems and troubleshooting
• Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly -
• Hotel Asset preservation. Including but not limited to: Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings
• Maintaining relationships with contractors, vendor and suppliers
• Ensuring a safe and secure environment for all guests and associates
• Maintaining appropriate inspections of the property as identified by the organization and brand
• Ensure the property meets brand guidelines and expectations for service and all standards
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
