Job summary

Postino WineCafe is seeking a General Manager to drive profitability and guest experiences across our Nashville store. You will lead the store leadership team, coach staff, and build strong local partnerships to deliver exceptional hospitality and results.

Applicants should have 1 year of GM experience or 3-5 years of restaurant management, with a hospitality/business degree preferred and ServSafe/Responsible Alcohol certifications.

ABOUT THE GENERAL MANAGER ROLE

As a General Manager your goal is to achieve desired company results with guests, employees, and financials through company aligned objectives and processes.

• Coach, develop, and engineer high-performing store leadership teams.
• Attract, retain, and grow talent across all levels, conducting performance reviews and assessing hourly team potential.

• Lead effective store communication and ensure smooth adoption of change initiatives.
• Uphold and coach teams to consistently deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Drive operational excellence by holding teams accountable to brand standards, systems, and execution.

• Own full P&L accountability - analyze results, build action plans, and drive sustained profitability.
• Utilize scorecards and business insights to identify trends, opportunities, and improve performance.

Requirements

• The position requires 1 year of full-service restaurant General Manager experience or 3-5 years of service industry management experience. Internal candidates must be in good standing and free of performance issues within a 1-year time-period. Combined work experience and education will be considered in decisions.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Hospitality, Management, or Business preferred.
• Servsafe and Responsible Alcohol Service Certifications are required
