In alignment with our shared vision, the leader should be able to effectively champion initiatives to drive productivity through commercial, operations, and financial excellence.**Duties / Responsibilities:*** Provide development of staff leaders to guide plants and support organizations* Work with customers, functional leaders, and internal staff to meet organizational requirements* Lead the establishment and attainment of plant goals in quality, cost, schedule, compliance, and safety* Establish and maintain the plant(s) vision for success* Facilitate the leadership team in strategic decision-making and problem-solving* Provides effective leadership and promotes good working relationships across all functions in the facilities and for the company* Responsible for the overall production, distribution, safety, quality, performance, and profitability of assigned operations* Leads by example thus setting a positive tone for the organization, creating a motivating work environment and cooperation across functions regardless of market conditions* Coordinate business activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing and production objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner* Establish and monitor overall performance for production and quality standards* Other duties as assigned**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required; 5 years of P&L experience will be considered in lieu of degree* Minimum 4 years’ experience in production management, with at least two in a manufacturing management position, is preferable* Prior P&L and commercial responsibility is required* Expertise defining and optimizing process flow* Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with all team members at all levels within the facility* Must have strong leadership, interpersonal, and discretionary skills* Solid understanding of construction trades and quality practices, codes, regulations, etc.Why Clayton?Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
