Stretch Zone seeks a dynamic General Manager to drive studio sales and oversee daily operations at the Jacksonville/Mandarin location. The role focuses on growing memberships, leading a high-energy team, and delivering a premium customer experience.

The ideal candidate has proven sales results in fitness, strong leadership, and a track record of achieving revenue targets. Training, certifications, and opportunities for advancement are provided in a fast-growing wellness brand.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of proven success in sales (required).
• Degree in Kinesiology, Applied Physiology, Exercise Science, Fitness Management, Physical Activity, Physical Therapy, Health Science or related field.
• Fitness industry experience is a plus.
• Availability for 3 days out of town for paid job training and 3 days of remote/studio sales training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and sets the tone in each of our high-energy studio locations.
• Responsible for the successful operation and financial accountability of the studio.
• Introduces potential prospects to our methods and presents them with a program tailored for them.
• Orchestrates the delivery of superior customer service, achievement of employees, and performance relative to location goals.
• Executes implementation strategies and ongoing management of company standards for key operational activities and goals.
• Regularly communicates with the owner/regional manager and corporate managers.
• Provides leadership, direction, and support to all direct reports.
• Drive studio revenue through membership sales.
• Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking.
• Proficiency in Club Ready, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, Google Applications, Social Media, EMAIL.

Responsibilities of a General Manager:

• Executes implementation strategies and ongoing management of company standards for key operational activities, programs, and goals throughout the studio.
• Regularly communicates with the owner/regional manager and corporate managers.
• Provides leadership, direction, and support to all direct reports.
• Directly responsible for managing all employees of the store.Drive Studio Revenue through Membership Sales
• Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking
• Proficiency in Club Ready, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, Google Applications, Social Media, EMAIL
• Lead and work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public

Requirements:

• 1+ years of PROVEN SUCCESS in sales REQUIRED, preferably membership sales within the fitness industry
• Degree in Kinesiology, Applied Physiology, Exercise Science, Fitness Management, Physical Activity, Physical Therapy, Health Science or a related field
• Fitness industry experience is a plus
• Availability for 3 days out of town for paid job training and 3 days of remote/studio sales training.
• Effective listening skills necessary to elicit options and ideas in support of team relationships
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owners
• Ability to manage and drive all revenue from membership sales
• Excellent communication and strong writing and interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
• Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment
• Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

Most stretching methodologies try to wait out, overpower, trick, or ignore the stretch reflex. The proven way to increase performance and mobility is to work with the stretch reflex with the revolutionary techniques available through the Stretch Zone® Methodology (SZM). The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then tries to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness.
