Job summary

Stretch Zone in Cary, NC is hiring a General Manager to drive studio memberships and oversee operations. You will lead sales initiatives, manage client relationships, and ensure a high-energy, results-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of PROVEN SUCCESS in sales within the fitness industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with the studio owner. Training provided.

Qualifications

• AA or BS in Exercise Science or Athletic Training with Anatomy & Physiology coursework.
• Fitness industry experience.
• Sales experience or willing to learn sales.
• Energetic, forward thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
• Well organized and self-directed team player.
• Good educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information.
• Detail oriented individual.
• Strategic contributor in long and short range strategic planning.
• Effective listening skills necessary to elicit options and ideas in support of team relationship.

Responsibilities

• Drive Studio Revenue through Membership Sales
• Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and Networking
• Proficiency in Club Ready, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, Google Applications, Social Media, EMAIL
• Lead and work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public

Schedule

• 6-8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Position

The ideal candidate will be primarily be responsible for driving studio sales/memberships, and studio operations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of PROVEN SUCCESS in sales REQUIRED, preferably membership sales within the fitness industry
• Availability for 2 weeks out of town job training
• Effective listening skills necessary to elicit options and ideas in support of team relationship
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner
• Ability to manage and drive all revenue from membership sales
• Excellent communication and strong writing and interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
• Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment
• Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
• Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Professional, punctual, reliable and neat
