Job summary

Gold's Gym Of The Carolinas is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily gym operations, champion member experience, and drive revenue growth. You will lead staff, coach performance, and ensure safety standards while fostering a results-oriented culture aligned with Gold’s Gym values.

The role requires 2+ years of management and direct sales experience, with CPR certification. Growth opportunities exist across our expanding Gold's Gym network.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience preferred.
• Fitness industry experience preferred but not required.
• Be promotionally-oriented and able to direct sales through outreach programs.

Overview

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, performance, and member experience of the gym. This role provides leadership to the management and staff teams while driving membership growth, revenue, retention, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, developing and coaching employees, achieving sales and financial goals, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring members receive an exceptional experience. The General Manager serves as the leader of the club and is accountable for creating a positive, results-driven culture that reflects Gold’s Gym standards and values.

• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn new data systems as required
• Ability to train and develop employees on a variety of company systems and procedures
• Requires the ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
