Job summary

Elase in Draper, UT is seeking a General Manager to lead one spa location with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and driving consistent sales growth. You will champion operational excellence and empower your team with training and resources to meet service standards.

The role requires strong business acumen, P&L oversight, and experience managing high-performing teams across multi-unit settings. You will collaborate with regional leaders to achieve company goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma required.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience; hospitality/retail/spa preferred.
  • 2+ years managing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated achievement in managing a P&L, exceeding sales and KPI targets.
  • Experience working with multi-unit operations in the beauty/wellness space preferred.
  • Experience working with, and managing, Medical Professionals preferred.
  • Proficiency in POS systems; MS Office and related software skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a 5+ person team with diverse backgrounds of sales and medical expertise.
  • Train and develop your team to operate with the highest standards of operations and client service.
  • Develop the team by hosting regular 1:1 touch bases and continued training.
  • Lead the team by actively being on the floor and engaging with employees to develop sales and client engagement.
  • Identify high-potential team members and create an internal pipeline for advancement.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing and diverse team.
  • Monitor spa goals including revenue, margins, provider sales, and client retention; coach accordingly.
  • Meet and exceed financial targets (sales and KPIs) set by leadership.
  • Manage all aspects of the spa’s operations: sales, customer service, admin, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing, HR, and operations to grow the business.
  • Address client feedback upwards to leadership as needed.
  • Stay curious and provide feedback to improve processes and policies.

JOB SUMMARY: The General Manager is a passionate supporter and leader in each of our Elase Med Spa locations. This person is integral in driving our business for consistent sales growth. This position has an elevated level of business acumen, leadership abilities, and a strong background in operating a business at a high level and ensures that our spas are delivering the highest level of service to all clients. This person is ecstatic about Elase’s offerings and services and is integral in empowering our team with the resources and training needed to deliver excellent service to our clients and delivering on our operational and sales expectations. This position reports to our Area Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma required.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience; experience in hospitality, retail or the spa industry preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience managing high performing teams.
  • Demonstrated achievement in managing a P&L, exceeding sales and KPI targets.
  • Experience working with multi-units in the beauty and wellness space preferred.
  • E xperience working with, and managing, Medical Professionals preferred.
  • Proficiency in POS systems required.
  • Fluent in computer and phone skills; technical knowledge of various software and applications (MS Office Suite, HubSpot, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES AND OPERATIONS:

  • Monitor spa goals including but not limited to revenue, margins, provider sales, and client retention. Identify key areas of opportunity and coach team members accordingly.
  • Meet and exceed financial targets (sales and key performance indicators) set by regional and executive leadership.
  • Manage all aspects of the spa’s operations: including sales, customer service, employee relations, administrative tasks and all expectations in alignment with our policy and procedures.
  • Champion Elase’s core values and build and maintain relationships with clients, staff and the community.
  • Own the full inventory lifecycle to ensure precise inventory management and proper supply budgeting and availability.
  • Devise strategic business plans by analyzing sales results with the goal of meeting and exceeding our goals.
  • Collaborate with corporate cross-functional partners (marketing, human resources, sales, operations, etc.) to continuously provide staff and client feedback to grow our business.
  • Address all client feedback, escalating to all regional and executive leadership, as necessary.
  • Stay curious and continuously provide feedback on improvement of process, procedures, and policies that will allow Elase to evolve.

OTHER DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • This position is in-person at our Draper location and requires an on-site presence 5 days a week. Full-time, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Must be available to work when our locations are open (including some nights, weekends and Federal holidays).
  • Full-time, salary exempt position ranging from $65,000-$75,000 plus bonus potential.
  • Must be able to constantly move around the spa and occasionally lift and move objects.
  • 401k with a company match.
