Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse management at a supervisory/manager level.
• Proficiency with a WMS system and data-driven reporting.
• Ability to manage P&L and budgeting processes.
• Strong numeric and analytical skills for reporting and decision making.
• Proven time management with clear objectives and priorities.
• Experience leading large teams across multiple shifts.
• Experience in workforce planning and best practices.

Summary

The General Manager is responsible for achieving employee and customer satisfaction through effective people leadership and coaching, organization of tasks, and the ability to handle an ever-changing environment.

The primary objective of the General Manager is to meet and exceed set targets through managing their customer, driving operational performance, developing a world class team with world class quality. This position is a premier role within the organization, as the General Manager is responsible for the daily operations and business a new distribution center.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environment at a Manager level
• Utilized a WMS extensively
• P&L Management Experience
• Experience with figures and understand basic mathematics needed for reporting, analysis, and differentiation purposes.
• Manage your time effectively and be focused on setting clear objectives and priorities
• Experience managing a large team of people across multiple shifts
• Experience in workforce management and industry best practices

Safety:

• Observe and follow health and safety regulations
• Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
• Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
• Assign designated safety personnel
• Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
