Berger Transfer & Storage, Inc is a leading provider of relocation, distribution, and warehousing services, established in 1910. We have been delivering moving and storage services to individuals and businesses for over 110 years!

We are seeking a GENERAL MANAGER to join our team in Columbus, OH. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff and drivers, develop budgets, and drive growth and profitability.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily operations of the office, warehouse, and fleet
• Achieving sales, budget, and profit goals
• Expanding the hauling fleet while maintaining high service quality
• Ensuring safety protocols and company standards are followed
• Managing financial and managerial reporting
• Creating and implementing SOPs and KPIs to improve efficiency
• Leading, developing, and monitoring staff performance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; additional education preferred
• At least 5 years of industry experience
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience
• Experience working with diverse teams
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Solid leadership skills
