Job summary

Trifecta Sports Bar & Grill in Castle Rock, CO seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and create an exceptional guest experience. You will coach a large team, optimise labor costs, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Strong leadership and P&L ownership are required. The role demands 45–55 hours weekly, evening/weekend availability, and a track record of achieving sales targets while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years as a General Manager or equivalent.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and controlling costs.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including bar management.
• Experience managing teams of 30+ employees.
• Valid food handler and alcohol service certifications (ServSafe Manager, TIPS).
• Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Job description

The General Manager is the head coach of Trifecta Sports Bar & Grill. This position is responsible for overall restaurant operations, team leadership, financial performance, and ensuring every guest experiences the energy, quality, and community that defines the Trifecta brand. The GM leads by example, creates a winning culture, and drives profitability while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Oversee all daily operations including front-of-house, bar, kitchen, and game room areas
• Ensure consistent execution of service standards, food quality, and guest experience
• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reconciliation
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, liquor, and labor regulations
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for inventory, equipment, and supplies
• Oversee maintenance of facilities, equipment, and technology systems (POS, TVs, A/V)
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing management team
• Build and maintain optimal staffing levels across all departments
• Create weekly schedules balancing labor costs with business demands
• Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching, and address performance issues
• Foster a positive, team-focused culture aligned with Trifecta values
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings and weekly management meetings
• Full P&L accountability for the restaurant
• Develop and manage annual budgets for labor, food cost, beverage cost, and operating expenses
• Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and implement corrective actions
• Drive sales through local marketing, community engagement, and promotional initiatives
• Control costs while maintaining quality standards
• Manage inventory, ordering, and waste reduction programs

Guest Experience

• Champion exceptional guest experiences in every interaction
• Handle guest concerns and complaints with professionalism and urgency
• Build relationships with regulars and the local community
• Oversee special events, private parties, and sports watch parties
• Ensure the venue is clean, well-maintained, and game-day ready at all times

Marketing & Community

• Execute local marketing initiatives and social media presence
• Build relationships with local businesses, sports leagues, and organizations
• Coordinate fundraising and community partnership programs
• Plan and execute special events (trivia nights, karaoke, game-day promotions)
• Full-time position requiring 45-55 hours per week
• Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Schedule flexibility required to meet operational needs
• On-call availability for emergencies
