What You'll Do

Cooking from scratch is both an art and a science, and at Cafe Rio, we take it to the next level. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading restaurant operations while developing future leaders, building strong teams, and growing sales.

You will:

• Recruit, develop, coach, and mentor future restaurant leaders
• Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and exceptional guest service
• Drive restaurant sales through operational excellence, local store marketing, community involvement, and other sales-building initiatives
• Foster relationships within the community to increase brand awareness and guest traffic
• Lead and inspire your team to achieve operational and financial goals
• Ensure Cafe Rio's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality are consistently executed
• Create an environment where team members can grow their careers and reach their full potential

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Proof of valid driver's license
• Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8+ hours
• 2 or more years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry, managing teams of 15 or more employees, interacting frequently with guests, and coaching employees into increasingly challenging leadership roles
• Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as workweeks that may occasionally exceed 40 hours
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Proven ability to build teams, develop leaders, drive sales growth, and execute local marketing and community engagement initiatives
