PRIDE Industries is seeking a General Maintenance Worker for onsite work in Tennessee. You will perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities, across trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work, with emphasis on safety.
Under supervision, you will carry out a variety of tasks, travel between facilities, and support project needs while adhering to federal AbilityOne program requirements.

This position is on a federal AbilityOne contract that requires most of the work hours to be performed by employees with disabilities. Due to program requirements, this particular position needs to be filled by a person with a disability.

Under general supervision, the General Maintenance Worker performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Work involves a variety of duties beyond those of skilled craft workers, with attention to safe work practices.
High School Diploma or GED
Work is performed at customers’ locations in office, shop, warehouse, or outdoor environments. May require driving to and from worksite locations. Employees may be exposed to hazardous and/or toxic substances, electrical shock, noise from equipment, and weather conditions such as wind, rain, cold, and heat.
