Job summary

Frontline-Enterprises,-LL at Charleston AFB is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance tasks, inspect facilities, and respond to work orders with urgency and accuracy.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, document activities in CMMS, supervise external contractors, and maintain records with attention to detail. Full-time, daytime shift with competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of facilities and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and identify any maintenance or repair needs
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document completed tasks
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff and tenants
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and materials used
• Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs or projects
• Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide maintenance activities

Skills

• Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance principles and practices

Plumbing skills

• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment using logical problem-solving techniques
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
