The General Maintenance Technician supports a secure federal facilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program by performing general maintenance, locksmithing, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and service call response activities within a mission‑critical facilities environment in Northern Virginia.
This position is responsible for supporting daily facilities operations involving doors, locks, hardware, carpentry, plumbing fixtures, interior repairs, signage, painting, lighting, and general building systems maintenance. The technician supports operational readiness by responding to service calls, completing preventive maintenance activities, maintaining maintenance records, and supporting emergency response operations in accordance with contract requirements and Government standards.
The General Maintenance Technician works closely with site leadership, maintenance personnel, subcontractors, and Government representatives to support daily operations within a secure TS/SCI environment.
