This is a Night Shift position, hours are 5:30PM - 6:00AM

The General Maintenance Technician will perform the following tasks:

1. Performs routine repairs and maintenance of plant and/or office facilities equipment.
2. Will also be tasked with performing basic carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, plastic, sheet metal fabrication, or associated work on plant facilities using hand and power tools.
3. Capability to learn and work on fire safety systems, paint and caulking applications, carpet installation, and drywall patching.
4. May be required to troubleshoot equipment or facilities problems and report them to the supervisor.
5. May interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and process specifications.
6. May perform routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary for maintaining facility assets.
7. Performs routine, repetitive, and basic tasks where precedent, methods, and processes are well established.
8. Makes simple decisions, but refers most to more experienced personnel as necessary.
9. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with knowledge of using proper PPE.
10. Ability to climb and work from a ladder.
11. Ability to access above ceiling and below floor spaces.
12. Must possess a current TS/SCI clearance with Poly.

Work Schedule:

1. Week 1 – Mo / Tu ON; We / Th / Fr OFF; Sa / Su ON
2. Week 2 – Mo / Tu OFF; We / Th/ Fr ON; Sa / Su OFF

Hours – 1730-0600 (5:30pm – 6:00am)

Basic Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of prior experience.
2. Previous experience in maintenance or a related field.
3. Security Clearance: Top Secret (TS/SCI) w/ CI Poly.

**Pay Range:**

Pay Range $42,000 - $65,000
