Grade 1 (Hourly)**Position Description:**The General Maintenance Technician I (Groundskeeping Laborer) position provides labor support to the Grounds department. Daily duties include light to heavy lifting, collecting and hauling trash, and monitoring recycling, garbage receptacles, and dumpsters to maintain a clean appearance. Duties also include weeding, irrigating plant areas, and trimming/pruning trees, shrubs, and grass as needed. This position is a required personnel position and requires the employee’s physical presence at the workplace.
