This network-wide position requires travel between sites, and the candidate will contribute to a safe, clean facility environment while supporting maintenance staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds and exterior areas including snow removal.
• Support building interiors and boiler, electrical, and elevator rooms as needed.
• Assist maintenance mechanics and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Move office equipment and assemble furniture as required.
• Operate and care for power and grounds equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness and update CMMS work orders.

JOB SUMMARYGeneral Maintenance Technician I is designed to be an entry-level position, with the expectations of shadowing and learning different trades and skill to advance to General Maintenance Technician II. A General Maintenance Technician I will maintain the facility grounds and buildings and assist maintenance mechanics as needed.In an effort to learn the regulatory healthcare landscape, General Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for entry-level PMs at different locations, which would require travel to multiple Good Shepherd locations.General Maintenance Technician I is a network wide position. Work location may vary based on organizational needs.
