Good Shepherd Health Care System in Hermiston, Oregon, is seeking a General Maintenance Worker 1 to ensure the overall maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of facility systems and will be responsible for both routine and emergency repairs across various hospital buildings.
This role requires a high school diploma or GED, proficiency in maintenance tools, and at least one year of experience in a healthcare or critical environment. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred, contributing to effective communication within our diverse patient population.

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations: Valid State issued Driver’s License.
Experience: Training in plant maintenance. Minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in facilities maintenance with a strong emphasis on healthcare or critical environment settings. Proven experience with complex troubleshooting and repair of building systems.
