Job summary

Player 15 Group is seeking an experienced General Maintenance Technician 1 to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. You will support the Engineering Department for Arena Operations and participate in broader department initiatives, performing routine maintenance across disciplines.

You will assist with repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, while upholding safety and quality. This role requires reliability, basic tool skills, and a proactive work ethic.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks and support various departmental trades.
  • Perform minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades as needed.
  • Assist with painting and minor surface repairs for a neat finish.
  • Perform basic carpentry, shelving installation, and furniture assembly.
  • Assist with minor plumbing repairs and leak fixes.
  • Support basic electrical tasks such as bulb replacement and minor troubleshooting (supervised).
  • Complete minor flooring repairs.
  • Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools.
  • Support senior technicians on more complex repairs and special projects.
  • Assist with event setups, installations, and coverage.
  • Communicate professionally with team members and vendors.
  • Report maintenance concerns and safety issues promptly.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain clean, organized work areas.
