Job summary

Player 15 Group, the operator behind the Phoenix Suns and other sports properties, is seeking an experienced General Maintenance Technician 1. You will support the Engineering Department for Arena Operations, performing routine maintenance and basic repairs indoors and outdoors.

• Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools; support senior technicians on complex projects.
• Assist with event setups and daily arena operations duties.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Maintenance Technician Level 1 to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of the Engineering Department for Arena Operations, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks including assisting various departmental trades, light repairs, and general property upkeep
• Perform minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and various trades, as needed.
• Assisting with painting, as needed, minor surface repairs with a neat, professional finish
• Perform basic carpentry work including shelving installation, wood repairs, and furniture assembly
• Assist with minor plumbing repairs such as leak fixes, drain unclogging, and faucet replacement
• Support basic electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs and troubleshooting minor issues (under supervision)
• Complete minor flooring repairs
• Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools
• Support senior technicians on more complex repairs and special projects
• Assist with event setups, installations, and coverage.
• Communicate professionally with team members and vendors, if applicable to daily workflow.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety issues promptly
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain clean, organized work areas

What We Need From Our General Maintenance Technician 1

• Basic familiarity with hand and power tools

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform hands-on labor
• Comfort working at heights (ladders) and in confined spaces

Experience And Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 Yrs Experience with General Maintenance and Repair. Preferred.
