Job summary

T5 Data Centers is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our facilities operations team. You will support non-critical infrastructure maintenance and basic repairs within a live data center environment, following safety protocols and instructions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and some maintenance exposure; strong communication, time management, and a team-oriented mindset are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists Facilities Operations Manager with daily tasks.
• Performs non-critical infrastructure preventive maintenance.
• Repairs door hardware, drywall, ceilings and carpet tiles as needed.
• Moves materials and assists with equipment installation.
• Ensures safety and follows instructions in a data center environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The General Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks assigned by the Facilities Operations Manager. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload and various supporting tasks within the Data Center.
• Non-Critical Infrastructure Preventive Maintenance activities including, but not limited to, the following:
• Door hardware repair/replacement
• Painting
• Drywall repair
• Ceiling and Carpet tile replacement
• Vehicle maintenance (Skid steer, forklifts, pallet jacks etc.),
• Installation of various non-critical hardware (Signs, guardrails, shelves, etc)
• Material movement
• Roll-up door and dock-lock repairs
• Replenish spill kit materials
• Basic infrastructure repairs
• Performs other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
