Job summary

T5 Data Centers is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to support data center operations. The role involves a mix of preventive maintenance and hands-on tasks across non-critical infrastructure in a fast-paced facility environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to read manuals, use hand and power tools, and lift up to 60 lbs. This is an on-site role focused on reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on non-critical infrastructure.
• Repair/replace door hardware as needed.
• Paint and drywall repairs.
• Replace ceiling and carpet tiles.
• Operate vehicles like skid steers and forklifts.
• Install non-critical hardware (signs, guardrails, shelves).
• Move materials within the data center.
• Repair roll-up doors and dock locks.
• Replenish spill kit materials.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The General Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks assigned by the Facilities Operations Manager. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload and various supporting tasks within the Data Center.

• Non-Critical Infrastructure Preventive Maintenance activities including, but not limited to, the following:
• Door hardware repair/replacement
• Painting
• Drywall repair
• Ceiling and Carpet tile replacement
• Vehicle maintenance (Skid steer, forklifts, pallet jacks etc.)
• Installation of various non-critical hardware (Signs, guardrails, shelves, etc)
• Material movement
• Roll-up door and dock-lock repairs
• Replenish spill kit materials
• Basic infrastructure repairs
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize work in a fluid environment
