Job summary

The Job Shop is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep across properties in the Kansas City metro area. You will respond to emergency maintenance calls, coordinate with vendors, and document work while maintaining safety standards and customer service for tenants and property managers.

This temp-hire position requires independence, reliability, and the ability to respond to emergencies outside regular hours.

General Maintenance Technician

Location: Kansas City Metro Area

Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30-5:00

Hourly Pay: $23

Term: Temp-Hire

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC maintenance, carpentry, and general property upkeep.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexibility to respond to emergency calls outside of regular business hours.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Comfortability with climbing ladders, inspecting roofs, and entering attics or crawl spaces.
• Working in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical systems.
