Job summary

CA Lawton in De Pere, WI is looking for General Maintenance Technicians for our foundry. You will perform preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise to maximize uptime.

You should have a technical certificate in Electromechanical or Industrial Maintenance and at least 2 years of experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC systems. Shift pay includes a $2.00/hour differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate or degree in Electromechanical or Industrial Maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on foundry equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and complete long-term projects.
• Maintain and repair electrical infrastructure from drawings.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond to requests from Facilities Manager to maximize equipment uptime.

What are the hours and pay?

• Looking for 2nd and 3rd shift
• Regular Pay $30.00-$40.00/HR
• Pay is based on experience
• $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

What is the job?

• You will be completing preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment within the Foundry.
• You will troubleshoot problems as they arise throughout the workday and complete long-term projects throughout the organization.
• You will maintain and repair existing electrical infrastructure using drawings and blueprints.
• You will participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Operate in response to requests from the Facilities Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor and set priorities as required to maximize equipment runtime.
• In this position, you will troubleshoot and ensure machine uptime on overhead cranes, sand mixers, conveyors and other foundry equipment.
