Job summary

UG2 is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform a range of maintenance tasks including installation of partitions, flooring, painting, and various repairs. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, and equipment maintenance across a commercial/industrial facility, with emphasis on customer service and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fixture installation, and inspections of generators, air compressors, sprinkler systems, and roofing.

Qualifications

• Three to five years experience as a general maintenance mechanic in a commercial/industrial facility
• Ability to perform a variety of carpentry related tasks
• Capable of performing plumbing repairs and maintaining facility equipment
• Familiar with surface preparation and painting drywall, wood, and metal surfaces
• Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customer needs
