A company is seeking a General Maintenance and Supplies Technician responsible for upkeep across various locations. The role involves managing equipment inventory, performing repairs, and assisting in larger maintenance projects. Job Title: General Maintenance and Supplies Technician
The General Maintenance and Supplies Technician (GMST) performs essential upkeep tasks across PBCS offices, Day habilitation, and Residential sites. Responsibilities include managing medical equipment and supplies inventory, vehicle maintenance, repairs of homes and offices, and organizing storage spaces to ensure safety and functionality.
The GMST also maintains medical and mechanical equipment and machines, performing tasks such as minor plumbing, painting, flooring and wall repairs, electrical repairs, and heating and air conditioning system maintenance. When necessary, the GMST assists in driving to pick up and drop off Day Program participants, especially when drivers are unavailable.
Additional duties involve selecting and contracting specialists for larger maintenance projects, collaborating with professionals during renovations or expansions, and advising the President and Senior Accountant on purchasing new equipment.
