The University of Oklahoma is seeking a position responsible for day-to-day museum operations, including exhibit maintenance, lighting, repairs, in-painting, and detailed cleaning. The role also involves care of objects through design and fabrication of display mounts and assisting senior staff to plan and install visitor experiences and traveling exhibitions.
The position may include fabrication support for the Education Department and Collections & Research, with a standard Monday–Friday
This is a key position in the museum, responsible for the day-to-day operations (exhibit maintenance: lighting, repair, in-painting, detail cleaning, etc.), care of museum objects through design and fabrication of display mounts, and assisting Head of Exhibits and Curators to improve existing displays, to design and build new visitor experiences and/or traveling exhibitions, and to install temporary exhibits¿in support of the Museum¿s Strategic Plan. This position may also include fabrication assistance to the Education Department and Collections & Research (e.g., archival mounts).
Pay Range: Targeted hourly salary up to $16.31, depending on education and experience.

Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date
