Under the United States (U.S.) Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) GILE program, Team V2X provides engineering, facilities, sustainment, and logistics support for intelligence systems. We support INSCOM, U.S. Army Cyber Command, Army Intelligence, Joint Forces, and the Intelligence Community, enabling mission success across multiple locations worldwide.

This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and specialized trade skills such as electrical, carpentry, painting, concrete, plumbing, welding, drywall, door hardware, ceiling, and flooring systems.
• Maintain structures and surrounding facilities, including fencing, gates, lighting, sidewalks, and pavements.
• Support infrastructure sustainment activities.
• Change locks and perform lock servicing to ensure safety.
• Disassemble, move, reassemble, and install facility furnishings.
• Develop supply estimates, gather technical data, evaluate safety procedures, and manage project materials and costs.
• Assist in planning, designing, and completing local projects.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements per OSHA, ECAP, NEC, and facility standards, including fall protection, confined spaces, and chemical handling.
• Attend periodic safety training.
• Lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work on elevated surfaces, and in various environmental conditions.
• Assist in overseeing or escorting contractors during repair or renovation projects.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications: Vocational or High School Diploma plus at least 7 years of experience as a General Maintenance Mechanic.

Security Clearance: U.S. Citizen with Final Top-Secret clearance (Tier 5 Background Investigation) and eligibility for SCI access per ICD 704. Some roles may require a CI Scope Polygraph.

Experience / Skills: Troubleshooting skills, effective communication, mechanical aptitude, and ability to evaluate work orders accurately.
