Job summary

MetalTek International is seeking a maintenance technician to diagnose malfunctions, dismantle, repair and rebuild equipment as needed. You will communicate problems and repair schedules to operating departments, and plan operations to move, position, align, level and secure machines.

You will maintain hydraulic, air, gas, water, ventilation, cutting/welding, overhead lifting and power transmission systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation across facilities.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of various trade fundamentals sufficient to perform general maintenance duties.
• Sound knowledge of necessary techniques to align and fit shafts, bearings and bushings.
• Proficiency with variety of measuring and leveling devices.
• Completed apprenticeship in maintenance or similar education and experience.
