Job summary

MetalTek in Wisconsin seeks a skilled maintenance technician to diagnose machine malfunctions, dismantle and rebuild components, and perform precise alignments. You will work with diverse systems and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, ventilation, welding and power transmission systems, coordinating repair schedules with production, and performing planned maintenance to minimize downtime in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of trade fundamentals sufficient to perform general maintenance duties.
• Sound knowledge of techniques to align and fit shafts, bearings and bushings.
• Proficiency with variety of measuring and leveling devices.
• Completed apprenticeship in maintenance or similar education and experience.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs., work in awkward positions and at heights.
