• Learn to use the CMMS program to log and support work performed
• Follow fire, safety and other emergency practices and report unsafe conditions
• Assist with basic upkeep of lighting and building components
• Record maintenance activity in logbooks
• Assist with surface prep and painting and drywall repairs
• Help maintain maintenance inventory and notify supervisor when supplies run low

BASIC FUNCTION:

• Responds in a professional, polite, and helpful manner when dealing with customers.
• Works directly with building staff and supervisors to help keep the facility clean, safe, and operational.
• Performs general facility maintenance and basic repairs under supervision.
• Assists with minor repairs to building equipment and systems.
• Helps ensure client satisfaction.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with basic maintenance and upkeep of building systems and equipment.
• Performs general maintenance duties such as light fixture replacement, minor repairs, and basic troubleshooting.
• Uses hand and power tools safely to complete basic repair and maintenance tasks.
• Completes assigned preventative maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Learns to use the CMMS program to log and support work performed.
• Learns, understands, and complies with fire, safety, and other emergency practices. Informs supervisor of any condition observed to be unsafe.
• Assists with basic upkeep of lighting and other building components as directed.
• Records basic maintenance activity in building logbooks.
• Assists with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall repair, and general cleanup tasks.
• Helps maintain maintenance inventory and notifies supervisor when supplies are running low.
