Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to support upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of resort facilities, equipment, and guest areas. You will respond to maintenance requests and ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have 3 months to 1 year of experience in Engineering or General Maintenance, knowledge of building systems, and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of experience in Engineering and/or General Maintenance is preferred.
• Working knowledge of general building maintenance systems and repair practices.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update logs.
• Perform repairs of motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and related equipment.
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance in rooms or public areas in a timely manner.

About the role

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking an General Maintenance Engineer to support the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of resort facilities, equipment, and guest areas. This role plays a vital behind-the-scenes part in delivering a seamless luxury experience by responding to maintenance requests, performing repairs, and ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to exceptional service.

What you will do

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs
• Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner

What you bring

• 3 months to 1 year of experience in Engineering and/or General Maintenance.
• Working knowledge of general building maintenance systems, equipment, and repair practices.
• Technical knowledge acquired through on-the-job training, trade school, vocational programs, or professional certifications.
• Ability to use computers and smartphones for work orders and maintenance tracking system.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Schedule & Hours

Full Time

• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Primary shift is typically Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with additional schedule flexibility required to support operational needs
