Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join the Plant Operations Department at the Ontario location. This role maintains walks, parking lots and grounds and supports renovations and projects across the hospital facilities.

You will help keep equipment in good working order, assist employees, visitors and patients, and contribute to a clean, safe and functional environment. We offer competitive wages, benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current valid Ohio driver’s license is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain walks, parking lots and grounds to support the Plant Operations Manager and Director.
• Assist with renovations, construction and projects across hospital facilities.
• Repair, clean and maintain equipment to ensure proper working condition.
• Keep facilities tidy and functional and assist employees, visitors and patients as needed.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated General Maintenance Technicianto join our Plant Operations Department at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Performs a variety of duties in and around the facility of the hospital such as maintaining walks, parking lots and grounds to assist the Plant Operations Manager and Director in completing their tasks. Provides assistance with renovations, construction, and projects. Repairs, cleans and maintains equipment ensuring that it is in proper working condition and ensures facilities are tidy and functional. Provides assistance to employees, visitors and patients as necessary.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current valid Ohio driver’s license in good standing with insurance company and acceptable driving record.

Preferred:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
