Job summary

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club in Florida is seeking a General Maintenance professional to join our Facilities team. This role responds to maintenance requests, performs general repairs across the property, maintains records, and helps keep facilities safe and well-maintained.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, you will preserve the quality, appearance, and operation of the historic property while supporting preventative maintenance and ensuring a positive guest experience for members

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of general engineering and maintenance experience.
• Hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to move throughout a large property and perform physically demanding work.
• Availability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance and repair requests throughout the property.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs, wall repairs, light bulb replacement, and other facility repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and completed work.
• Ensure maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies are properly stored and secured.
• Support preventative maintenance efforts across club facilities and grounds.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional facility maintenance projects as assigned.

The Opportunity

Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club is seeking a General Maintenance professional to join our Facilities team. This position is responsible for responding to maintenance requests, performing general repairs throughout the property, maintaining maintenance records, and helping ensure the club's facilities remain safe, functional, and well‑maintained. The General Maintenance team member reports directly to the Director of Facilities and plays an important role in preserving the quality, appearance, and operation of the historic property.

The Day‑to‑Day
