Qualifications

• Must hold a current state and Government Driver’s License.
• Experience performing general maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for up to 75% of the workday.
• Ability to climb ladders up to two stories high.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Availability to work overtime as required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one (Secret).

Job Description

The General Maintenance Worker repairs building structures and mechanical, electrical and sanitary systems, and performs general maintenance on machinery.

• Perform general maintenance of buildings and equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such tasks as carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, masonry, electrical, or plumbing activities
• Operate gardening and grounds care equipment as required
• Perform operator maintenance on all equipment used in the execution of duties and report higher echelon maintenance requirements to appropriate personnel
• Assist with equipment turn-in and hand receipt maintenance, as required
• Work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays
• Work overtime as required

Qualifications
