Job summary

Winchester in Oxford, MS is seeking a General Machinist for 3rd shift. The role pays $29.08/hr to $38.65/hr, depending on experience and evaluations. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience in general industrial machinist/maintenance/machine repair.
• Experience operating lathes, mills, boring mills and/or machine shop equipment required.
• Ability to interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of the working properties of aluminum, brass, bronze, cast iron and various steels.
• Ability to climb ladders, enter confined spaces and work in wet, humid, and extreme temperatures.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends as required, with primary assignment being 3rd shift (Mon - Fri 11:00p - 7:00a).

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery as needed.

Location-specific Requirements

• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
