Position Summary

The primary responsibilities include investigating General Liability claims to determine liability exposure. This role manages claims in their entirety, maintains service level targets, and achieves claims goals. It involves interaction with associates, attorneys, healthcare providers, vendor partners, and Brand partners.

Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 1 in-person day at one of our core locations and 4 remote days.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Claims Management
  • Manage caseload within established targets, ensuring thorough investigations, evaluations, negotiations, and legal compliance.
  • Ensure timely legal filings and statutory deadlines.
  • Analyze loss facts to develop strategies that optimize outcomes and reduce costs.
  • Identify fraud indicators and pursue subrogation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Safety to identify hazards and minimize risks.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Financial Impact Administration
  • Manage claims up to $2 million, with authority to settle claims up to $25,000.
  • Communicate ongoing incident causes to relevant departments.
  • Serve as primary contact for claim issues, providing timely updates and resolutions.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Licensed adjuster (as appropriate by jurisdiction)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in handling General Liability claims
  • Thorough knowledge of rules, regulations, statutes, and procedures related to general liability claims
  • Knowledge of medical terminology for complex claims
  • Negotiation skills for resolving various claims

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work under pressure
  • Customer-focused with understanding of legal procedures and standards
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
