Job summary

Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. in Florida seeks a driven attorney to join our General Liability practice in Miami. You will defend businesses and individuals in tort matters, from premises liability to products liability, handling depositions, motions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

The ideal candidate is a Florida Bar member with strong communication and problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team. Litigation experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue dispositive motions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients
