Wilson Elser is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney for our Albany, NY office. The role requires at least 3 years of litigation experience in general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance defense, with a preference for trucking-related and construction/labor matters.

The position offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement and opportunities for growth within a nationally recognized firm. A JD from an accredited law school and NY admission are required.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in New York.
• 3-8 years litigation experience, including general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance defense.
• Experience in trucking-related litigation, construction/labor law, and/or transportation matters is highly preferred.
• Understanding of NY Construction Law (Labor Law §§200, 240, 241) and experience with OSHA proceedings are a plus.
• Ability to integrate into a fast-team-oriented oriented environment
• Legal project management experience is helpful.

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join our high-performing litigation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to defend complex cases in general liability, premises liability, personal injury, tort claims, and a variety of other areas. Wilson Elser offers a competitive salary and benefits package designed to support our attorneys both professionally and personally.

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Salary Range:

$150,000 - $190,000 USD
