Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 4–5 years of hands‑on accounting with a mid‑size nonprofit or 501(c)(3).
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar cloud ERP is required.
• Ability to prepare journal entries and balance sheets independently.

Responsibilities

• Accurately apply multi-dimensional coding to transactions in Sage Intacct.
• Prepare, review, and post standard journal entries.
• Audit and certify employee credit card coding and attach supporting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure data integrity across accounts.
• Support monthly close and Grant allocations and year-end audits.
