• Signal equipment operators to ensure proper alignment and movement.
• Level earth using pick or shovel; perform flagging duties as needed.
• Operate small equipment such as bobcat, tractor, or roller between sites.
• Finish freshly poured concrete with float, trowel or screed.
• Build positive working relationships to maintain safety and productivity.

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hard‑working General Laborers to join our team for the 2026 Construction season. The role involves assisting with various tasks at construction sites or plant/pit locations. Start of work will be Spring 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow all company policies.
• Measure distance from grade stakes, drive stakes, and stretch tight line.
• Use multiple power and hand tools, bolt, nail, align, and block up under forms.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications.
• Level earth using pick or shovel.
• Perform flagging duties as needed.
• Operate small equipment including bobcat, tractor, or roller and move from one site to another.
• Finish freshly poured cement or concrete using float, trowel or screed.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel to maintain safety and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1–3 months verifiable experience preferred.
• Valid class C state driver's license with an acceptable driving record, per Knife River Fleet policy.
• Regular attendance required.
