Job summary

Stock Manufacturing & Design has been a family-owned business since 1974 and is seeking motivated General Laborers to join our Cleves team. This role involves cleaning/deburring parts, assisting the laser operator, keeping the shop organized, and supporting the shop as needed.

Shifts are Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3pm, and the position reports to the Welding Supervisor as a secondary supervisor. This role offers growth opportunities in a growing contract manufacturing and steel fabrication

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or in progress for vocational welding students).
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers preferred.
• Ability and willingness to learn to read routers, blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Alignment with company core values and a servant leader minds.

Responsibilities

• Identify part quality, addressing any poor-quality parts.
• Laser clean-up as needed.
• Material handling as needed.
• Ensuring the care of equipment is being followed. (Forklift, edge rounders)
• Match paperwork with parts. (Knowledge of how to read notice blueprints)
• Clock in/scan jobs out after processing and counting to assure everything is correct.
• Move parts through out the shop to the next appropriate work sequence.
• Maintains reliable and regular attendance.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during work-shift.
• Communicate with the production team on job progress/questions/concerns.

We are seeking motivated, self-driven individuals to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and build a career in skilled trades.

This General Laborers will be based at the Cleves location. The shifts are Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm.

JOB SUMMARY:
