Job summary

C. Maurer Building is hiring for our residential construction team. We need two dependable, hardworking people. No prior experience required—show up, take direction, learn, and we’ll teach you the rest. You’ll gain hands-on carpentry skills with a supportive crew.

Work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with some Saturdays and overtime. You’ll help build decks and outdoor living spaces around St. Louis County. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed; be ready to learn and

Responsibilities

• Build residential decks and outdoor living spaces.
• Deck demolition, carry lumber, dig, concrete work, load/unload materials.
• Assist skilled carpenters and learn all aspects of deck construction.

Job description

We’re looking to add 2 dependable, hard-working people to our residential construction team.

No construction experience is required. If you show up on time, work hard, take direction and are willing to learn, we can teach you the rest.

What You’ll Be Doing

Our crews build residential decks and outdoor living projects throughout central and western St. Louis County and St. Charles County.

Work includes deck demolition, carrying and handling lumber, digging, concrete work, loading/unloading materials, jobsite cleanup, assisting skilled carpenters and learning all aspects of residential deck construction.

What We’re Looking For

You must:

• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Be dependable and show up ready to work
• Be able to lift 75 lbs
• Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
• Be comfortable working on ladders and at elevations of 8–10 feet
• Be willing to learn and take direction
