St. Louis Demolition Company is hiring a motivated Demolition Laborer to join our growing crew. This hands-on role offers learning of a skilled trade on a variety of residential projects.

You will work with safety protocols, operate hand tools, and assist equipment operators. We provide paid on-the-job training and a supportive team focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

Mansioni

• Perform manual demolition of sheds, garages, decks, fences, pools, and other residential structures.
• Operate hand and power tools including sledgehammers, pry bars, reciprocating saws, jackhammers, and more.
• Break up and remove concrete, asphalt, brick, and other hardscape materials.
• Sort, load, and haul debris to dumpsters, trailers, and disposal sites.
• Separate recyclable materials such as metal and clean concrete from general debris.
• Assist equipment operators working with skid steers, mini excavators, and dump trailers.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines on every jobsite.
• Protect surrounding property, landscaping, and structures during demolition.
• Rake, sweep, and grade work areas so jobsites are left clean after every project.
• Load, unload, and maintain tools and equipment at the start and end of each day.

Position Overview

St. Louis Demolition Company is hiring a motivated Demolition Laborer to join our growing crew. This is a chance to learn a hands-on trade, work on a wide variety of projects, and be part of a licensed and insured local demolition company that takes pride in doing the job right.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual demolition of sheds, garages, decks, fences, pools, and other residential structures
• Operate hand and power tools including sledgehammers, pry bars, reciprocating saws, jackhammers, and more
• Break up and remove concrete, asphalt, brick, and other hardscape materials

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry materials and debris weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, with occasional heavier team lifts
• Operate vibrating and heavy handheld tools for extended periods
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and dig for extended periods
• Climb ladders and work at heights
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including summer heat and winter cold
• Comfortable with exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and debris (PPE provided)
• Twist, reach, and work overhead
