Job summary

Techo-Bloc in Waterloo, IN is seeking a General Laborer to support daily production and help ensure every product meets high quality standards. You will inspect finished products, perform quality checks, and rework/replace blocks to keep pallets customer-ready. The role also includes packaging, safety practices, and teamwork on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• Able to read basic instructions and communicate clearly.
• Reliable and on time for scheduled shifts.
• Comfortable working independently and with a team.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Strong attention to detail and good common sense.
• Able to multitask and problem-solve on the floor.
• Comfortable operating basic machinery and support equipment (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished product for height, shape, color, and consistency.
• Perform quality checks and remove defective pieces as needed.
• Rework/replace blocks to ensure pallets are customer-ready.
• Package finished product with packaging materials, top sheet, labels, and final quality check.
• Keep products packaged neatly, safely, and securely.
• Assist with production support tasks such as pallet repair, general maintenance, yard support, and other tasks.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety practices including PPE and Lockout/Tagout.
