Module X Solutions in Shreveport, LA is seeking a production assistant to support the manufacturing of modular units and solar power conversion skids, collaborating with electrical, welding, casting, painting, and material handling teams to meet project specifications.

The role requires 1+ year manufacturing or construction experience and a high school diploma or GED; duties include handling materials, operating basic tools, reading a tape measure, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting

• Organizes and palletize cuts of wire
• Unboxing or unpackaging transformers and inverters
• Maintain clean and efficient workspace in warehouse or production floor
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Summary

Performs all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. Responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of modular units and solar power conversion skids with other team members in the following departments: electrical, welding, casting, painting, material handling and others as assigned.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
