Job summary

SA Recycling, a scrap metal facility, is hiring a General Laborer to perform various tasks in an outdoor yard environment. You will assist with metal processing, sorting, packaging, and basic maintenance while learning more technical tasks on the job.

Ideal candidates are reliable, willing to follow safety rules, pass a drug screen and background check, and communicate effectively in a bilingual setting. English and Spanish skills are a plus, with opportunities for growth and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate effectively and follow directions.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unloading pallets, boxes, and bundles.
• Material handling and sorting – pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and operating conveyors.
• Operating yard equipment and performing light maintenance.
• Disassembling small equipment and handling packaging materials.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
